Or, perhaps, you’re from the generation that remembers singing songs about the love of God and wearing “Jesus Is My Homeboy” t-shirts. If this is the case, it is likely that you had an encounter with Jesus, but can’t recall the facts necessary to defend your faith.

It turns out that knowing about God is just as important as knowing God. Yet, if you don’t have a relationship with Jesus, then the facts don’t really matter very much.  

The duty of every parent is to pass the faith onto their children. It’s an enormous responsibility, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. There are plenty of resources available to help us instruct our kids in the faith and encourage them to form a relationship with the Lord.
